Only the highest quality components and materials are used in ErgoCentric Plus Size chairs. Each angle and curve is the result of careful thought and testing. ErgoCentric Plus Size chairs incorporate all the features ergonomists and health care practitioners demand.
The backrests have a dual curve design, which provides both the lumbar support and the lateral support the human body requires when in the seated posture. The rigid structure of the backrests have the same dual curve design as the molded polyurethane foam to ensure they continue to provide support over the long term.
The "Plus Size" seat's (22"W x 21"D) eight ply hardwood plywood dual curve inner structures are designed to distribute the users weight away from the ischial tuberosities and the waterfall fron edge relieves pressure ont the veins beneath the thighs. The dual density molded energy absorbing foam seat cushions are designed to be comfortable yet firm and durable for years of intense use.
The heavy duty control mechanism with unique synchronized movement has been specifically designed for heavy and intensive use. It has a 2.5" seat depth adjustment built in.
The pneumatic lift allows the seat height to be easily adjusted with the touch of one easy to reach lever. Using Suspa brand pneumatics with life time warranty. An especially heavy duty pneumatic lift is standard on the Plus Size seating. The seat height range is 19" to 24".
ErgoCentric Plus Size chairs come standard with the best quality dual wheel nylon casters and a 27" diameter Hercules base. Urethane (hardfloor) casters are available.
Plus Size seating has a life time warranty except on the mechanism, foam and fabric whaich have a five year warranty when used eight hour a day, five days a week by persons weighing up to 400 pounds.
