Each Lafuma Elastic Bungie Cord Tie Up Kit provides enough elastic lacing for both sides of one Lafuma Recliner -- one kit works for both Standard or XL Lafuma Recliner RSX or Futura Lace Chair Sizes. The replacement lacing kit contains 4 laces, 2 shorter laces for the recliner top and 2 longer laces for the recliner bottom.
Please Note: Lafuma Recliners Produced Before 2005 May Require 2 Lacing Kits -- These Recliners will have 33 eyelets per side - Please Contact The Comfort Store For More Information.
The Elastic Laces provide the hammock-like comfort by suspending the fabric bed in Lafuma Recliners. It is recommended that the elastic laces be replaced every two years to maintain the high quality comfort of the Lafuma Recliner. Elastic laces are not covered under the normal manufacturer warranty of the chair.

Tip On Lafuma Chair Elastic Cord Replacement ---- When replacing the lacing on your lafuma recliner or chair, replace one side at a time so that you can use the other side as your template.

Lafuma Replacement Laces Kit
Lafuma Recliner Chair Laces are weaved through the Lafuma Chair mattress eyelets and Lafuma Chair frame loops. The easiest method of replacing laces is to leave one side on the chair and copy the pattern of lacing with replacment laces. If neither side of the chair is currently attached by laces then follow the directions below.
The Lafuma Laces Replacement Kit contains 4 Laces -- 2 short laces for the top half of your Lafuma Recliner (the first 10 eyelets on either side starting at the shoulder level and moving down to the seat) -- and 2 longer laces for the bottom half of your Lafuma Recliner (the 19 eyelets on either side starting at the seat and ending at the footrest).
How to replace your Lafuma Laces
Lacing the top of your Lafuma
1) Using one of the smaller laces and beginning at the top of the chair, pull the lace through the top most eyelet (#1) from the back, and proceed to lace down to the 10th eyelet. Lace the 10th eyelet twice for extra support, making sure the plastic end is through the backside when you are done.
Lacing the bottom of your Lafuma
2) Using one of the longer laces and beginning with the first eyelet at seat level, pull the lace through the eyelet from the back and proceed to lace down to the 19th eyelet. Double lace the first eyelet along with eyelets 2, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12 and 19 for extra support. Pull the plastic piece through to the back of the chair.
