Lead time is the number of days it takes for an item to leave the warehouse after an order is placed. If an item leaves the warehouse the same day it is ordered, that is considered 1 lead time day. If it leaves the next day, that is considered 2 lead time days, and so on. Orders placed before 1 PM ET for items stocked in The Comfort Store Ohio Warehouse will usually ship out that same business day (Monday-Friday except holidays). If the item ships out the same day it is ordered then 1 lead time day is added. The Total Shipping Time is 3 days. If the item ships out on a Tuesday then the estimated delivery day would be Thursday. Example Number 2: If an item shipping to North Carolina is ordered and ships out on Friday, the Total Shipping Time is still 3 days as in the first example. However, remember, Saturday and Sunday are not business days. The estimated delivery day would be Tuesday. Most customers find the Quick Ground Shipping from The Comfort Store is more than adequate for their delivery needs. The UPS MAP above calculates Transit Time for UPS Ground Shipping. Most of the time UPS Ground will be all a customer needs to receive their order in a timely manner. UPS 3 Day may cut transit time by 1 or 2 business days for those customers living in zones with Ground transit times of 4 or 5 days. UPS 2 Day may cut transit time by 1, 2 or 3 business days for those living in zones with Ground transit times of 3, 4 or 5 business days.
