 The Varier Peel™ Chair - Wraps your body in protective layers, creating a haven of calm. It is adjustable to your bodyweight, and responds to every shift in weight to move you effortlessly into the next position.

When we started working with Peel™, we wanted to create an elegant piece of furniture, designed to provide total relaxation. The structure of the chair has been influenced by the shape and function of a falling orange peel. Its purpose is to protect its contents, to embrace them and care for them.
The Peel™ reflects the sitting philosophy that we are created to move not sit still.

The Varier Peel™ Chair is elegant and comfortable and offers a high degree of well-being. The chair is flexible and follows your body’s movements. A double spring system allows smooth shifting between positions for perfect relaxation. Peel™ has 360° rotation and three distinct positions for sitting and resting.

The Varier Peel™ Chair is flexible and follows your body’s movements. With just a simple shift of your body weight, you can move into the next position. As Peel ™ has a fixed angle between the seat and the backrest, the chair will support your body properly, independent of your sitting position.

An elegant footrest is designed to make it easy to remain comfortable in the chair.

Based upon a balance principle
This is a sitting solution that is really unusual and designed to completely satisfy our innate need for movement and variation. With a footrest, half-open back cushion and height adjustable neck support Peel’s™ comfort is obvious. It’s also been specifically designed to enable you to recline without slipping forwards or backwards, whatever your size. Simply by gently altering your body weight through different sitting positions allows complete freedom of movement.

To protect and embrace you. The design of the Peel™ was inspired by the shape and function of a falling orange peel. Its purpose is to protect its contents, to embrace and care for it. As soon as you cuddle up in the chair, you’ll feel secure.

Peel™ is an elegant and comfortable piece of furniture, which comes in two mirrored versions. This makes it easy to place two Peel™ side-by-side. They look even more stylish when paired up!

The elegant footrest is somewhat higher than other footrests to provide optimum support in the most reclined position.

Peel™ is based on a balance principle where you use body weight to adjust the sitting position. With just a simple shift of you body weight, you can move into the next position – quite effortlessly! It´s also been specifically designed to enable you to recline without slipping forward or backward.

Peel™ is literally an open design. The Peel™ shape lets in air along your back making the sitting experience even more comfortable. With the extra large, adjustable neck support, you can fall asleep knowing that you won´t wake up with a stiff neck.

Individual adjustment according to weight. The new and patent pending movement system lets you adjust the resistance in accordance with the body weight, thereby supplying ultimate comfort for everyone!

Varier Peel Chair Technical information:
  • You may recline without slipping forwards or backwards – the movement is in the tilting mechanism, and not between seat and back
  • The organic shape offers many different reclining positions inside the chair
  • By using the footrest, a change of position is done effortlessly
  • Higher footrest to ensure superb comfort in most reclined position
  • The footrest may be used as a “coffee table”
  • The neck rest may be adjusted both horizontally and vertically, thus providing different positions for reading, sleeping, watching TV, etc.
  • The chair is available in mirrored versions, making it an attractive pair in the hotel lobby
